I am practical libertarian who is conservative on fiscal issues and progressive on social issues. *I believe that government shouldn’t interfere with our personal freedom unless our actions infringe upon the rights of others. *I believe in individual responsibility for our actions, so that those who commit crimes against others are punished and that a lawsuit isn't the cure for our own mistakes. *I believe each of us is better off, with a free economy, where we can prosper without over-taxation. *I believe that government must insure equal opportunity for everyone which includes good schools for all children and equal rights laws that protect all minorities and the majority from discrimination. * I believe that government has an obligation to help care for those who can’t care for themselves, because we are a caring society and compassionate people.
