Like you, I am appalled at the continuing corruption, inefficiency, and unresponsiveness of state government. We need a state government which is “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” not of the political families, by the special interests, and for the benefit of the politicians.

That’s why I’ve decided to run for State Representative in District 98, which includes parts of Uptown, Broadmoor, Central City and Mid City. I am a moderate, who is fiscally conservative and progressive on social issues.

I am a good government reformer with a proven track record of working on good government issues. I am a businessman who understands that the Legislature needs to help business grow and build a stronger economy. I have led public safety task forces because I know the importance of safe streets and schools. I have worked on education reform because I know that our children are our City’s greatest asset and our hope for a better tomorrow. I am a lawyer so I know how to improve our judicial system so that justice isn’t dependent on which attorney contributed the most money to the judge.

As you can tell from the Community Involvement section listed below, I'm a problem solver who has worked as a volunteer to make our city and State a better place in which to live. It's that same problem solving ability that will make me an effective Legislator. Thank you.
